In-Store Refund Policy
Return Policy
Merchandise in original condition with original receipt and packaging may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 14 days of the original purchase date, but no refunds. Special / Custom Orders are considered a final sale and are non-exchangeable and cannot be returned for credit. Jewellery or watches that have been worn, resized, engraved, altered or damaged in any way cannot be refunded or exchanged. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Layaway Policy
Janina’s offers a flexible 12-month interest free layaway program. A minimum 30% deposit is required to place an item on layaway. Monthly payments are required to be made on the item. Deposits and payments made on a product that is on layaway are non-refundable. All cancelled layaways are subject to a 30% restocking fee of the original purchase price.
Special / Custom Order Policy
For all Special and Custom orders, a minimum 30% deposit is required. Monthly payments will be required to be made once the item has been ordered. Special / Custom Orders will be held for a maximum of twelve months. Due to the nature of the item, Special / Custom Orders are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
Jewellery Warranty
Jewellery purchased at Janina’s comes with a limited 1-year warranty provided by the manufacturer. Janina’s Jewellers may perform the service work in-house or send the product back to the manufacturer for the warranty claim. Shipping charges may apply and all regular terms and conditions of the manufacturer warranty will apply. Jewellery warranty only applies to defects in the material or the workmanship of the jewellery.
Slight irregularities and variations in craftsmanship or natural characteristics, or internal inclusions, visible or otherwise, in gemstones and diamonds are unique and individual to each item. These characteristics are considered as part of the character of the item, and should not be considered a defect.
Maintenance, repair, sizing or other service performed by someone other than Janina’s will void the manufacturer warranty.
Jewellery is not impervious to normal wear, activities or shock. This is particularly true for rings since hands are regularly subjected to considerable abuse. We do not provide warranties for damage due to normal wear, product loss, loss of stones or theft.
Watch Warranty
Watches purchased at Janina’s come with a limited warranty provided by the manufacturer. The length of the warranty will vary based on the brand. If your watch requires service during the warranty period, Janina’s will send the watch out to the manufacturer service center on your behalf. Shipping charges may apply and all regular terms and conditions of the manufacturer warranty will apply. Regular wear, dents or scratches on watch cases, bracelets, crystals or exterior components are not warrantable.
Repair Warranty
Jewellery repairs come with a 1 year limited warranty. Upon Janina’s Jewellers discretion, jewellery repairs will either be completed in store or sent back to the manufacturer. Damage on any part of the jewellery resulting from abnormal use, lack of care, negligence, chemicals, accidents (knocks, dents, crushing, heat, etc.) will not be covered under warranty. Shipping fees may apply to any shipment being sent back to the manufacturer.
